Maybe he'll be the one they will keep out of the SANFL this week. All things going well they will will have him getting a week off whilst players they want to get a gig in the SANFL do so

I think emergency because they probably won't need him, but if they did he would play and it means he won't play in the SANFL and everyone else gets a game where Knight needs a bit of a rest.
Still got to wonder about list management when Andy Otten is considered our 3rd best key position defender by such an apparent margin

I guess given Knight is one of few players remaining he probably had to end up on the emergency list.

Keath and Cheney are both injured. Hunter and Dear aren’t ready (and not sure they ever will be).
my point is if the club list you as managed there is surely a reason to be managed and you take the player completely off the selection table
listing someone as "Managed"but having them as an emergency is a bit BS to me

Surely that just means that they're taking the opportunity to guard against a potential issue, but could play if really needed.
Nothing that sinister I wouldn't have thought (particularly given his history).
