I know some of us feel that the issue about the tweet about Robbie's illness should be getting more media attention, but I'd bet that Robbie would actually prefer it was allowed to die down and everyone moved on. He and his family surely don't want to keep hearing it repeated.

Showdown 44
Robbie Gray
joined Josh Francou as Port’s only three-time winner of the Showdown Medal.
Gray also became the first Port player ever to kick five goals in a quarter when he turned the game on its head with a brilliant third quarter handful on Saturday, and with his game total of six goals jumped to the top of the Power’s Showdown goal-kicking list.
Gray now has 34 Showdown goals to head Warren Tredrea (30), Justin Westhoff (28), Brett Ebert (26), Chad Wingard (23), Jay Schulz (22), Shaun Burgoyne (20) and Chad Cornes (20).

Good onya Robbie .. :D

The Vics have finally woken up. Good article ...

Port Adelaide star Robbie Gray is finally getting the credit he deserves

NICK Dal Santo reckons it wasn’t that long ago Victorian footy fans would go to watch their team play against Port Adelaide and walk away saying ‘gee that Robbie Gray’s a good player isn’t he?’ “It would take them to see what he does to their direct interest being their club to say ‘oh wow this guy really is good’,” Dal Santo said.

After 191 AFL games, three All-Australians and club best-and-fairests, Gray no longer inexplicably flies under the radar in footy-mad Victoria and is getting the respect that he deserves. “He’s now in that conversation when you speak about the best small forwards in the game, people always mention him,” Dal Santo said. “It’s not an oversight anymore, people don’t say ‘oh sorry I forgot about Robbie Gray’, that doesn’t happen anymore.”
.................................
“He’s in the top lot, everyone knows that, you don’t do what Robbie’s done three-time best-and-fairest, All-Australians, Showdown Medals, he’s a great player, simple,” Hinkley said.

And now it’s not just South Australia but an entire nation that knows it.

He's now in the conversation for the game's 'best small forwards', is he?

Nick, the conversation should be whether he's a top 5 player in the league. Give him the credit he deserves...

Saying that Robbie Gray would be 'in the conversation as one of the best small forwards in the game' is like saying LeBron James would be the best player in the NBL. The fact that you even feel the need to state something so obvious is insulting.

LeBron is in conversation for the best *checks Wikipedia for his position*... small forward in the NBA.
