Free agency period starts tomorrow and goes for 1 week. This allows for other club to match bids if they choose.

For the rest...

Trade period starts on Monday and goes under 8:30pm on Wednesday 17th October.

Clubs are still then free to do pick swaps all the way until a week before the National Draft on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd November.

Um how does that work? I mean take for instance Tom Lynch. Now we all know he is going to Richmond and that Gold Coast is going to get pick 3 as a compensation pick, but until Gold Coast get that compensation pick they can't possibly use it in any sort of trade next week, and everyone elses draft picks going into next week is going to be off by one. Surely free agency should be finalised before the trade period?

Just watched that Trade Lowdown show on Fox Footy. What a load of regurgitated tripe. Brad Johnson asked some bloke who's name escapes me which means he is some irrelevant turkey where Gaff would end up 4 Times. The irrelevant turkey said North Melbourne 4 Times. End 1/2 hr show.
