Meh, Buddy kicked 8 on us in round one last year and we went on to win 10 in a row. Playing with a bar of soap hasn't helped and Brisbane were pretty good last year despite a few close losses. Happy to get this one out of the way. A wake up call in round one isn't necessarily a bad thing, considering the conditions, 5 weeks less of pre-season and the amount of inexperienced players playing in this game.

Brisbane had the same "bar of soap" as you guys yet managed to win by 7 goals. You can't really blame the conditions. Brisbane were just hungrier and played better. Perhaps the eagles a little rusty? A lot of potential top 4 teams have looked rusty this round.
