Dont be to down on yourselves this is set up brilliantly for a typical #beingportadelaide game, always get ahead of ourselves and never handke the expectation.

If you don't win by at least eight goals, something monumental has gone wrong.

I'm talking six injuries in the first quarter monumental.

Been told training intensity well up, tackling drills aplenty.

I was at Waurn Ponds last Wednesday and Geelong were training , sheesh they had a practice match, even bloody Ablett played, so it's heartening to see us applying some tackles and lifting our intensity above say EFL div 4.

I'm not for a second suggesting Geelong train harder or they have the answers, just going to check the ladder....

It's been an issue for years.

Any threat of Wilkinson being selected?

Recruited as a small forward with a big tank. We have none of those that also kick goals in the side currently.

Would like to see him given an extended run of games to make a forward pocket spot his own.

Have to admit, looked pretty average in the VFL but wouldn't be against it.

Brad filling in as the tackle bag?

Should be an easy win for us. All their star new players will be fading.

As a side, Port Adelaide is well-drilled and extremely disciplined, which is why it has toppled quality sides such as West Coast this season.
The Power play a high-possession style of game, ranking third in kicks and handballs per game, and first in average disposals.
Renowned for its fast-paced frenetic style of play, Port Adelaide is capable of moving the ball from end-to-end in a flash if its opponents have a lapse in concentration.
This energetic game plan has seen it rank third in total points per game, ahead of sides such as GWS and Brisbane.

It took 5 weeks for that? Freo game wasn't enough?

I can't remember when was the last time I felt so little care for the result. 2006 perhaps?

You know who also might benefit from having a run in the center, Atley, that guy is designed for the 666 rule.
Strong thru the hips can burst away from a tackle and great kicking into the forward 50.
Done this multiple times in the past fortnight.
A player who knows theres space and can use it and hes pigeon holed at half back

Kyron's playing? I thought you were supposed to recruit young players, keep them in the VFL for three years and then delist them? Interesting new tactic.

Its a scapegoat for Brad to put on the end of year resume to add another debutant to the list & point towards it and say, we're developing our young talent.

I don't care why the kids are actually getting a go, just as long as they do.

Albeit I'll say Kyrons definitely earned it as his tackling/pressure numbers greatly overshadow most of even the senior team. He's growing into his tagger role quite comfortably.

Needs to find more of the pill & attack on ball when he needs to however.

Has laid 30 tackles in 3 games with 14 coming from a single game.
