All going well it's going to be bizarre to realistically see Douglas, Seedsman and Jacobs all potentially playing SANFL at once.
Douglas is going to find it hard to get back into the AFL side once he is back to full fitness. Can see him playing quite a few games in the SANFL before he gets a recall (if he does)All going well it's going to be bizarre to realistically see Douglas, Seedsman and Jacobs all potentially playing SANFL at once.
Hamstring and back injuries often go hand in handInjury list as of Tuesday, April 30
McPherson's hamstring injury is now a back injury
Exactly. Not that shocked to be honest. His hamstring might have improved but back now “out” from hamstring injury and still recovering.Hamstring and back injuries often go hand in hand
Personally another week is neither here nor there to me. He clearly has talent, I'd just love to see him back out playing and to being able to string some games togetherExactly. 2 weeks is the mini showdown so should make an interesting gameGeezuz... our sanfl side could be bloody strong in a few weeks from now!...
Douglas mentioned on AA thats hes going to play a couple SANFL games before putting his hand up for AFLDouglas is going to find it hard to get back into the AFL side once he is back to full fitness. Can see him playing quite a few games in the SANFL before he gets a recall (if he does)
Going to be very interesting to see what happens when Sauce is ready to go, going to be hard to drop ROB if he keeps up his current rate of improvement!
Could potentially see both of these guys given a farewell type game later in the year
Matt Haas says Milera won't need surgery as the injury will just heal itself. Oh ****, second opinion?
Douglas will struggle to get back in. Jacob's will also especially with ROB getting coaches votes. When was the last time Jacob's got those?Douglas is going to find it hard to get back into the AFL side once he is back to full fitness. Best team when all fit minus Doedee:Injury list as of Tuesday, April 30
Brown (Ankle) – Test
McPherson (Back) – 1 week
Seedsman (Knee) – 2-3 weeks
Douglas (Syndesmosis) – 2-3 weeks
Milera (AC Joint) – 3-4 weeks
Jacobs (Knee) – 3-4 weeks
Doedee (ACL) – Season
McPherson's hamstring injury is now a back injury
Brown should be right to go. Milera has avoided surgery. Gibbs is available
Are you one of those that thinks every 4 week-off injury needs surgery to fix?Matt Haas says Milera won't need surgery as the injury will just heal itself. Oh ****, second opinion?
Whenever possible surgery is mentioned by our staff, it’s ALWAYS decided by specialists/surgeons. Reasons:Well it wasn't Haas that had that opinion... It was a specialist. Matt Haas is just the messenger
"He has had his second follow-up with the specialist this morning and it was a positive result that he won’t require surgery."
Thanks Dr JohnWhenever possible surgery is mentioned by our staff, it’s ALWAYS decided by specialists/surgeons. Reasons:
- it’s legal negligence if our staff decides for the player to have surgery or not, and not consulting with external specialists
- no surgeons would do surgery on a player just because “the Crows staff told me to do it”
- no players would be dumb enough to consult solely with staff and not a surgeon/specialist

I was clearly joking but carry on.........
No worries mate. Thanks for the tip. I'll keep it mind.Maybe an emoticon would make it clearer next time
Always tough to tell with you....
The SANFL will want us gone ASAP.Imagine an SANFL side with Sauce, Jenkins, DMack and Douglas in it.
Could be a reality that few would have suggested in February.
