Their delusion is strange. Their confidence and arrogance is somewhat bewildering to say the least.

It will not matter if we get Pick 1, they will change the narrative where they won the trade.

We want them (or, more importantly, their club) thinking that they won this trade, or at least broke even. The more strongly they think that, the more likely they will be to enter into a similar arrangement in the future.

If only all footy tipping was this easy. So far that's 8 of 9 correct predictions made last November. Nice work.

Now if they can just keep this form line going until the end of August...

Today's result isn't a surprise. The Giants playing their NEAFL team.

I guess SOS was just unlucky that he recruited all the crap Giants
He had inside knowledge and still picked all the stinkers

The problem was that the inside knowledge was his own

There conceding pick 1 or 2 now so the next phase of denial is that Adelaide won't make finals.
We know that won't end well for them

Everyone carries on about Cripps, and yes he’s bloody good, but I love that young Fisher lad of theirs..

In such an unbelievably shite team, that must obviously put so much extra pressure on the young lad, Fisher just always looks cool and calm, has silky skills and very rarely does anything wrong.. think I’ve said it before that he’s a bit of a young Wingard type, before wingard became a lazy flog.

I imagine he’d be really good playing in a top 4 side... without fisher and Cripps it would be far greater carnage every week.

Would like to have him at the crows... we’ll give em pick 19 + JJ for him!...

Still worried about North Melbourne and Gold Coast. They have their own pick so late season early surgeries and trying out some kids could be on the cards.

Reckon we are safe with all the others.

From the general draft chat on here it seems Pick 1 & Pick 2 are streets ahead of the next best (whoever that would be)

Carlton have to make up 2 games on Gold Coast assuming Gold Coast won’t win another game, they will so Carlton are going to have to score a few wins when they’ve won 1 in 9.

North will jag a few wins because they aren’t that bad.

Why would we do that we've just drafted two youngsters in Jones and McHenry who project to be quite possibly superior players to Fisher, we need a young mid now with some size about them IMO and Fisher is not that.

Setterfield looked dreadful. One of his kicks rivalled ROB's as the worst i have seen..and setterfield was a 1st round pick under sos and he then got him to carlton

Carlton are at breaking point.

If they lose their next 4 against, Saints, Dons, Lions and Dogs regardless of how "brave" they are, they are in for a world of hurt and ridicule.

BOLTON’S SEAT REACHES BOILING POINT

Carlton’s heaviest defeat of the AFL season could spell the beginning of the end for under-pressure coach Brendon Bolton.

The bottom-placed Blues were smashed by GWS on Sunday afternoon, losing 20.18 (138) to 7.3 (45) at Giants Stadium.
No one was expecting Carlton to beat the Giants on their home turf but the size of the margin will have alarm bells ringing at Ikon Park.

Club powerbrokers have publicly pledged support for fourth-year coach Bolton but Carlton have now won just four of their past 41 games and it is difficult to see any coach surviving a wooden-spoon finish two years in a row.
Today might be rock bottom #AFLGiantsBlues

This is looking fairly terminal for Bolton and his group. It’s not his fault. But Carlton is running around like a group of Auskick kids at the minute. No structure or intent without the ball #AFLGiantsBlues

I would prefer if they didn’t go into the Saints game with so much heat, it might galvanise them for 3 minutes

Its unfortunate that the Magpies only played about 5 minutes of footy in the last quarter to completely steam roll them with 5 unanswered goals.

What Carlton needed was back to back bashings which would have helped the Saints.

This is a danger game, for us. Even thought the Saints won the last 4 and the last head to head game by 10+ goals.
