Pathetic effort, Norf are tanking for the free draft hits. AFL need to not reward this behaviour, it hurts other developing teams by pushing back their draft picks.
McKay is rubbish, surely no other team is going to pay him good $?

North finishing bottom or 2nd bottom wont really make much diff to us but WC finishing bottom could potentially turn pick 1 to maybe 3 r1 picks for them.So if we can't make finals by R23, we can hope for a Weagles win to have the Roos finish bottom.

How's this call looking, Hawks have won 3 out of their last five, including Pies and Dees in the last two weeksThere really is only one club you could throw the tanking accusation at this year, and that's Hawthorn.
North and WCE are just bad.
They were never going to catch Norf and WCE in that raceThey stopped tanking when they were out of the race for Harley Reid

That's one thing the Hawks are very good at, evaluating the performance of their senior players and moving them on when they aren't moving the team in the right direction. They certainly tried. A lot of people tipped them for the spoon after they traded Mitchell, O'Meara and Gunston

Also more points we can offer Gold Coast when we try and trade for their firstFirst pick of night 2. Basically a first rounder.
Why are we trading for their 1st? Trading pick 6 or 7 and 19 for Gold Coasts pick 4?Also more points we can offer Gold Coast when we try and trade for their first
Wouldn’t rule out that pick being a north priority pick if they don’t get sandersFirst pick of night 2. Basically a first rounder.
Why are we trading for their 1st? Trading pick 6 or 7 and 19 for Gold Coasts pick 4?
It is looking like we will end up with pick 8 or 9, there is only a couple of highly rated mids on offer this year and they will likely be gone by our current 1st. So to get access to them we will need to get a hold of the Suns pick. I would be fine with us giving up 8 and 19 if that secures us the elite mid we desperately need. Why are we trading for their 1st? Does anyone know if pick 19 would hold its point value even after an academy pick or does its value after the draft starts and a player is bid on and matched? Also more points we can offer Gold Coast when we try and trade for their first
