Dr Chant said many of the 211 new infections were linked to the ship, which was allowed to dock in Sydney last week.
"When asked whether Border Force was to blame for the decision to allow passengers to disembark, Ms Berejiklian said "all of us [in government] have to take responsibility".
A report will be released in coming days on decisions the Berejiklian Government made around the Ruby Princess cruise but Dr Chant stressed there was nothing NSW Health could have done with the information they had at the time.
She said most passengers displayed symptoms of the virus only after disembarking but confirmed that one passenger was taken straight to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital after the ship docked.
What do they mean, the informaton they had at the time? it was last week!

The Australian Border Force were responsible for letting 2,700 cruise ship passengers disembark in Sydney without health checks.
Ours (ALP but all parties are as bad) cant even be bothered living in ourr electorate and needs.a map to find it come election day. So I expect they will just be spending more time than normal working out to get their maximum in allowances and creatively account for donations.

Piss off you flog. I made a point that capitalism continues in the thread about socialism v the virus. There's a lot of people who will do very well out of this virus, Coles and Woolies, market speculators etc people will have to make their own path. Late on here however I am still struggling to get my head around his address last night. It was an incoherent mess.

I understand that this is a ****ing hard situation to manage and I think he has actually done a decent job so far (though the Ruby Princess surely must fall on border security or there is a massive breakdown in protocol between federal and state responsibility which the Feds need to explain).
Going to get fun when stage 3 restrictions hit.
Edit: Im wrong on the border security responsibility, it is with Dept of Agriculture, Water and Environment.
