WCE were the same last year.

Pretty disappointed we folded to a walk, but WC are the reigning premiers for a reason. They turn it on when they need to.

Biggest plusses were Griffin, VB, Reilly, Douglas and Knights to some extent. These guys are the future of our midfield and have stepped up nicely so far. Hopefully they can take that kind of form in to the minor round and beyond.

Doesn't really matter, but it's just a tad concerning that we've folded again.

Agreed to give a 5 goal lead in the last was disappointing obviously the game doesnt matter, but when u consider what happened last year it would have helped us psychologically to be able to hold on and win this one IMO.

Australia are still a force to be reckoned with, as are the Adelaide Crows.

The positives are that our youngsters have played very well

Douglas 29 touches, Reilly 28, VB 23, Knights 18. Thats the positive for me IMHO. Senior players didn't play a major role tonight it was the young guns who stood up and played well.

Griffin also did well in the ruck. Happy with that

Yep forgot about Bock. He needs to be the go to guy at CHF and the other forwards can work around him. How come we kept picking out Staker when we were trying to go forward ? Rushing ? Panicking a bit ?

no point in beating every other team in the comp if we continue to fall over against the eagles like we have in the last two years - whether its a prelim or grand final. im a crows fan living in perth and im sick of the eagles.

this is far from the end of our season, but those eagles are really getting on my nerves, weve got to wipe the floor with them in the season proper.
