This is the absolute problem with beverage he values versatility to the detriment of players and the team. Rather than pick the best player for a position he picks 22 blokes he wants and then tries to fit them into unnatural positions.

Under him we have had multiple midfielders as small forwards (Libba, Dunkley, Smith, Garcia) small defenders as small forwards (JJ, VDM) our best intercept defender as a forward (Wood), not to mention Young as a Ruck.

He backs multiple blokes in regardless of form and the more they get criticised the more he sticks with them.

Honestly had a gut full of this bloke and him playing at coaching with this team without giving it a chance to succeed

What is the actual point of naming a squad with 8 players on the bench on a Thursday night. Is it because the AFL mandate teams be named on a Thursday night for the massive TV ratings that they engender?

One has to commend the MC for putting the final nail in the coffin of Buku Khamis' brief career. He couldn't handle the absolute mismatch of one of the most one dimension KPF of the last 120 years last week. How the **** is he supposed to be competitive when lined up on Casbault the colossus or an actual gun KPF in King? Excellent work guys. Sorry Buku, you could've been a contender, but they're about to send you on a one way trip to palookaville. It's a shame as we barely knew you.

Sure the cupboard may be bare due to injury, match conditioning or just reasons. But If they don't show a modicum of creativity and swing Naughton back until a genuine KPB is available and replace him with Darcy then the re-jigged coaching panel is as useless as those that proceeded them.

However, with our pressure rating for that game our lowest since 2018, surely bringing in a 208cm guy would be hindrance to rectifying that?

I actually thought Buku did well last week and the move wasn't terrible against a cooked brown who really did nothing allowing Jones to have free rein in defence, certainly not a move that'll work against the Suns 3 or 4 talls though.
