With any one of Bont, Treloar, or Weightman in, we win that.
If Jones plays instead of Khamis, if Weightman plays instead of A Jones, if Bont plays instead of literally anyone, but that's ok. There will be games we play against teams when they're not looking so healthy and we'll win, it evens up.

In short, it’s fked.

You can’t have set “rules” where the interpretation of those rules can change from year to year.

HTB a clear example. The rules still state prior opportunity. However the interpretation of what that is changes from year to year and even week to week.

Deliberate OOB another.

Push in the back another.

Ducking contact another.

Games becoming a farce.
The most "farcial" rule "interpretation" (apologies Ross Lyon) is the 15m minimum kick rule.

Just a total joke .

There were were at least three "marks" called by the Dumpires tonight in the forward 50, none of which could of carried more than 12 metres.

Compare those with some of the "NOT 15!!!!, PLAY ON!!" calls that defenders regularly cop.

There was a kick Dane Zorko executed from the back pocket in the Sydney game that traveled at least 20 metres.

"NOT 15 PLAY ON!!, PLAY ON!!!"

I get that Zorko is not an Umpire favorite but it exemplifies the obvious Umpire bias against defenders in general..

How about applying the rules fairly umpires, instead of playing the position and even worse, playing the man?

The problem for the umpires tonight was they started off their usual free kick Dogs giving them 4-5 soft ones to begin, but for the first time ever there was actually a crowd in attendance and the umpires felt the stick and started paying them both ways.

Usually in Dogs games there’s no crowd so no pressure to change their bias.

But we understand it’s a difficult night, it’s the first time a lot of Bulldogs fans have ever seen their team lose a free kick count and they’re shocked, they didn’t even realise half these rules existed as they’ve always gotten away with it.

Just wait until they start pinging the Dogs players for throws, that’ll really shock their fans when they learn it’s not legal!!!

Did I meet you in Manchester in 2002 by any chance Eddie?

He said you guys didn't tackle very well, I think he has a point.
That was true. He also praised Buku and Gallaghers response after half time.

Its what he didnt say..... "Senior coaches can get themselves in trouble..." in response to the single umpiring question.

I normally dont pay any attention to free kick counts but tonight was farcical, and in a 6 point game.

Worst call of the night Moore taking out Naughton

Worst call of the night the non 50 to Bobby when the Bulldogs player having been caught by the most blatant HTB all night swore at the umpire and wasn’t pinged for dissent.

They're not

The AFL will take thier accreditation off them and take the rights of the broadcaster

It is written into the broadcaster's contract that commentators, who routinely express opinions about every other facet of the game, are not allowed to express an opinion about the umpiring? Sounds dubious to me.

It's always the same comments:

Umpires....
Always looked after...
Tears......
Every time it happens I love it. Keep it coming.
At least I can respect this attitude.

“We’re favoured by umpires because we’re the AFL’s favourite, and I accept it”

Kudos.

The media lovefest for McRae, Daicos, Pendles, Sidey, Moore in particular has always rubbed me the wrong way. So manufactured. This goes hand in hand. I went from mildly disliking them since the Eddie era to loathing them since Fly took over. I don't even want to hate them that much but when this happens again and again it just makes their games unwatchable.

Well done hero. Instead of your overarching sentiment why don’t you give us your thoughts on the Bailey Dale disputed ball insufficient intent vs Naicos jumping over the line with the ball?

3 votes though, right?

He’s a great player but the hype is overblown. Ask him to fight through a tag and win his own ball and we know how that’ll end up.
He doesn’t have to though.

He’s good enough in a whole bunch of areas, and plays for the right team, to make up for the lack of physicality he shows.

Fans need to start boycotting afl games and hit them in the pocket. If they see blatant unfair umpiring just walk out of the stands, switch off the TV, tell the afl they'll be tuning out until it's rectified.

Unfortunately for many, including myself, footy has become an addiction, an opiate for the masses. Like a lot of modern day entertainment it's used to control us.
Glad we payed the umpired this week. I love the melts. Kisses to you.
