well played Suns.
big confidence win at the G.
as for the D's - big changes are needed

Because Warner, Gulden and Heeney aren’t enough….
Correct. I actually think we need some kind of salary cap allowance in acknowledgement of what an expensive city Sydney is to live in, so that we can attract the likes of Rowell and Petracca to the club. Why has nobody thought of something like that before??

I was just staring at Rowell wondering who is it that he reminds me of. It was bugging me.

Then I realised, he looks like the gcs mascot

10.5 END OF QUARTER(a) The end of a quarter occurs when any field Umpire or emergency Umpire first hears the siren sounded by the Timekeepers to signal the end of a quarter.
Correct.

When they hear it, not when they call it, as the post I responded to stated.

Melbourne are just putrid. An indictment on the club. If you’re not the greatest side, fair enough. Play with some heart however. Absolutely insipid. Those who have played for the Dees without an abundance of talent but put their bodies on the line every contest must be shaking their heads.

Brand Melbourne. Don’t buy it. Stay clear.
Geelong at Kardinia Park next week. Probably a good thing it’s not a home game for the Dees. The crowds are all downhill from here.

Not to mention some extra list spots. Other clubs don’t appreciate the challenge of providing all these academy prospects with a pathway.

Growing the game on the frontier is a heavy burden to carry. And a thankless one.

Thank goodness somebody understands!!

Nothing wrong with this era from Melbourne, got a flag out of it.

The era is over though, time to sellhouse, move on from Goodwin and rebuild. The only issue is it'll be during the Tassie introduction.
Yep, they got a flag out of it. However it was only achieved on the back of 15 years of irrelevance, which resulted in umpteen number 1 and top 10 draft picks. They also had to be heavily subsidised financially by the AFL, and other clubs. Not to speak of having to have an AFL appointed administration imposed on them. They were a basket case on and off field.

With all the leg ups and advantages that Melbourne have had handed to them over the past 20 years, 1 flag is a massive under achievement.

Only two games in but GCS are addressing their biggest sticking point from last season - the inability to win away.
On paper they have perhaps the best midfield in the competition.
Now they can actually play like it away. Touk is ridiculously good and having him play that difficult high roaming half forward role is such a luxury.

Nailed two difficult shots from opposite angles in the third quarter. Just a very very good player.

Covid compromised Perth flag is equal to 0.63 of a real premiership.

It’s science.

Vossy or Goody first to go?
I only enjoyed the first 63% of that game.

Unless the umpire was wearing novelty sized ear-muffs, then he would have heard the siren blow before the ball was kicked.

Complete amateur arrangement by the AFL. But that's what you get when a bunch of business people try and run a sport: incompetency.

Didn't see it, so I wont comment on his performance, but Langford had 26 and did some quality things in a losing side.

I also said he should be in the conversation, not that he'd win.
Wasn't arguing just mentioning that's what the benchmark is

It’s unfortunate there’s no farm land 5min from the cbd that the swans could buy up and sell to players for cents on the dollar

Dees body language is seriously grim. Trac looked like the saddest man in footy when the siren went.

Big changes to come you'd think.
They need a rebuild. Move trac on. Deal with us so we can get TDK :P

Nobody arguing that. We all know the rule but it should be amended for more precise results.
