I imagine people will start switching over to a wet weather slog between two talented teams instead of checks notes the media's darlings doing a poo in Tassie.

Cats playing the weather much better. Just smash it as far as possible, get metres and don't slow down.

Our game plan seems to be kick it forward at all costs.
In this weather it's smart. Holmes kick out of defence was "poor" by normal dry standards but it bobbles around like soap and the Lions cannot punish it, out the back and Geelong are away.

These are the games that to me highlights Scott's ability to manage games on a week to week basis. He adjusts well.

Cats have started well, been a good, hard contest so far. Good to see Shannon Neale able to get back on the ground and then a class pick-up and delivery in the middle of the ground that prime Tom Hawkins would have been proud of.

Heart in mouth with the de Koning dropped mark on the half back flank, allowing Charlie Cameron to get out the back, but he couldn't make us pay. Geelong supporters will reserve the blame for SDK, but Zac Guthrie was just as culpable, going up in the same contest and leaving no-one at the fall

Shaping up as a tight one.

Brisbane's depth is so good Reville is sub? I rate that guy
Depth is so good that multiple AFL standard players are in the VFL each week. That said, some of the players in the AFL team are underperforming at the moment.

lol because your mob is just so reliable in prelims. Ok.
Well we're 2-0 in the last two? So you're right, well done Bluey!

2-2 in recent times bud. Hardly trustworthy.
I think that's pretty good to be honest, I'd rather trust than then two teams that couldn't get past a semi-final. One that choked in an all-time classic.

Cats have turned up this week. Lions will surely wake up in the second half, like they did last round.
On the basis of last year, it's pretty evident the Cats are much better in the weather. Which is still disappointing for us, it's a wet weather game.
