Chris Scott basically begged Dogs players in his press conference not to go after Baz verbally. He framed it as if Baz plays better when you get under his skin but it’s clear there’s some concern that we might hit a nerve and rattle him. He even mentioned he’d imagine there’s still a lot of goodwill between Baz and plenty of players at the club hahaha

Yep and Geelong posters laugh reacting to posts about his mental fragility on BF.... Seems their coach has twigged onto what we all have known for a while now, but they're still a bit slow.

So glad that the Bailey Smith circus sideshow is no longer our problem. The guy can't help trying to make everything about himself at the expense of the club.

It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out tomorrow. Smith is always one who plays with real confidence on field, curious to see if his off-field troubles bleed into the game considering the circumstances.
Genuinely wouldn't suprise me if any of three things happen, he comes out and has an absolute belter, he is over whelmed and plays terribly or he is withdrawn moments before the start of the game.
The only thing I have ruled out out in my mind is that he will have a middle of the road performance, there is nothing in-between.

Think we all know it’s the opposite with Bailey. Get under his skin and he struggles. Evidenced by the back half of the 2022 season.

Going off the comments by former coaches and team mates something tells me it’ll be the shit because they know exactly what to say to keep his mind off the game

Smith making it all about Smith as always.

Brought it all on himself so too late for Scott to plead for us to go easy. Way too late. Smith made his bed, so we get in his head and mentally destroy him and his team.

Scott imagining there's still goodwill between Smith and our players.... yeah, sure... 🙄

He does still have a couple friends amongst the playing group but even they're looking forward to getting into him.

Not sure i buy that. Yes we were one player down on the field, but we came out of the gates like a house on fire and we in front with 5 mins to go in the 2nd quarter. Then completely shit the bed in the 3rd quarter largely because we didnt adjust in the midfield
Yes we were effectively a man down. But Bonts worse ever game too? And he (and the whole leadership group and pur coach) spent the 2 hours leading into it debating what to do with a dishevelled JUH that was off the rails. Crazy to think this doesn't effect the team's headspace.

Would dearly love to be there but left my run too late and not paying extortionate amounts for a seat after I've already paid more than enough for it through my taxes.
