Any objective anaylsis showing which 13 Geelong free kicks weren't there?

38 free kicks were paid for the match ( and there were likely another 20 that could've been paid, or would at least need to be assessed).

I eagerly wait your objective analysis of these 60 odd incidents, then you can display what the free kick numbers should have been.

After that, we can try and calculate how many scores this affected.
Mate, honestly? Geelong were heavily favoured.
Take the win and leave it at that.

I love how this thread is one bulldogs comment and then about 45 Geelong fans in a row all trying to prove how great they think they are.
There's about 5 pages of Geelong fans misunderstanding how and why both home ground advantages and fixturing advantages work.

Here's a clue Geelong fans: you're the only Victorian team to have a true home ground advantage against other Victorian teams, and a lack of a Victorian vs Victorian Docklands/MCG away disadvantage. And that fixturing advantage is to assume the season is a 34-game fair home and away draw, and then analyse which of the 12/11 games are taken not played in a season, and which of the remaining 23 games are played outside of the main home stadium.

When combined, this analysis correctly determines that the Dogs are screwed over compared to the wider league with how often they play away at Kardinia.

There's about 20 pages of Bulldogs supporters, and the odd anti-Geelong neutral, crying about how umpiring or fixturing rather than their inferior skills cost them the game.

Bitter, small club mentality. Nail your passes, execute in front of goal against strong teams under pressure and you might finish top 4 for the first time under Bevo.

It's easy to do it under a roof against Essendon. Time to level up.

whatever.... pretty sure you would think dogs getting a 26-12 umpire ride would still give the cats a 14p win. which is silly. dogs were victims of unusual circumstances and bevo was not outcoached
Yeah.. it is pretty bizzare that a team who applies large amounts of pressure gets holding the ball frees paid. If the umpires where as dumb as your suggestions they would have all come together and said

“ listen, geelong have more frees.. so no matter what happens the next qtr, even it out ok?? We want everyone to feel inclusive out here”.

What was bizarre was the lack of incorrect tackle and marking interference free kicks paid to the Bulldogs which one might reasonably expect against a team playing in such a high-pressure manner.

The holding the ball free kick against Bailey Dale whilst he was being tackled around the head, just one obvious example where selective leniency was applied in Geelong's direction.

Geelong got the rub of the green in so many ways it was obvious to even neutral supporters.

Winners are grinners, enjoy your victory. We will lick our wounds and hope to play better next time.

We will also hope the umpires do a better job next time as well.

Could go back and forth with heaps of examples of Libba and other dogs throwing the ball and htb not being paid, but I never blame umps for results because I’m not a sook.

I get frustrated in the moment, but 99% of the time the better team wins and this was no exception thursday.

Just another sulking whining excuse from doggies and angry neutrals who hate geelong.

8 minutes to go and we kicked away and you couldn’t go with us. You also never lead across the entire 120 minutes once.

You have issues against quality teams which is obvious from your losses

The whole "playing with 4 injections" spiel from Bailey Smith is a bunch of crap. If you cant play without injections, simply dont play.

Wow phatboy what an incredible contribution again. Essentially changes my point by… nothing at all. Whatever period of time they led for, was insignificant

When you try and put an exclamation point on a statement by making a black and white claim that a fellow poster has already made once in the thread and it was incorrect, and memorably so given that anyone watching the game would have seen the teams walk to the huddle with the score plastered across the screen, don’t get the shits if someone simply tells you that you’re incorrect, mate.

whatever they lead for was a small period of the game and doesn’t change the context of my post. Your point was to be antagonizing and reply with a “that is false” remark which in the context added absolutely nothing to the discussion.

Ok mate. Good for you. Go get ‘em

I don’t take drugs mate never have had drug addictions. Don’t mind an occasional Shiraz tho

Couldn’t be more pleased for you. That’s a good non-problem to have.

I’ve never had a drug addiction either though my dabbling here and there during previous times of my life seems to have made an indelible mark on you.

Dunno mate, a few people still condemn the occasional drink. Had a pen folds Shiraz with Thursdays game which went down well
