Not wrong. We desperately need an athletic defensive mid who can do the fundamentals 70% well like Windhager.

Powell is a C Grade mid. Would be an ideal depth player at a good club.

Coop's 4 goal game may have been his "Uncle Shane " moment.Yeah righto muscles.
Payne 6.2 in the VFL.
Harvey 0.1 and a soul destroying turnover late.
I don't care who Payne comes in for - it should probably be Konstanty - but let's not pretend Harvey is some great undroppable messiah
The AFL App said tactical.
We were. We had Powell (who did four fifths of f*ck-all offensively) on him.Bizarre not to tag NWM
*Half a man downWe cannot be playing Daniel from now on. It’s beyond the joke. He can only get the ball in space as he can’t win a one-on-one with his size and any kick (looking at you Hardeman) that is an aerial contest, he will lose.
You are basically playing one man down, down back.
He had a howler. Hasn’t been great since his return to be honest. Needs to be sat down with someone senior and told to pull his head in.3 times today, within 5m of goal, PC chose to try and kick it off the ground instead of picking it up......
He would've been playing against the right team. Brazil's defence is average. They're lucky that they're good in most other areas. Defensively they're not much better than us. Watch the 2014 Germany WC match. Defence has never been their strong point.Dude, pick it up…

Cost us two goals, including that one in the last minute, to win the game, because he tried to be a soccer star.
I used to feel this pretty strongly but at this stage I don't think we can count on the young to stay if we keep putting in efforts like this as our ceiling (and last week as our floor). Duurs almost out the door, and some of the others would be genuinely insane to extend (eg. Wardlaw)Disappointed yes, but I see the positives, young guys - McKercher, O'Sullivan, Hardiman they are good footballers and will be north Melbourne greats. Stay positive and watch the turnaround. It's so hard too watch the louges but look at the young
Third quarter (despite what the fawning commentators thought) I thought his influences was pretty curbed. From my view I thought FOS was on NWM when he drifted forward and he did a decent job.

The recruitment team’s fascination with copying Richmond’s plan of playing mostly sub-six-foot players in their window is a bit sad to think about. One third of our team can't compete overhead:
Banch, Daniel, Wardlaw, McKercher, Konstanty & RHJ today. All too short to compete overhead. And then we have Jy, Will Phil, Fisher & Payne on the list as well. That's TEN guys on our list unable to compete overhead.
It kills us every week. It gives us no chance of competing against the top teams. No chance.
We can mask it a little against the other cellar dwellers though.
This list re-build is a disaster.
IF this current list reached its absolute MAXIMUM potential (as unlikely as that is), we'd be lucky to sneak into the 8. Win a final? Unlikely. Serious contender/Top 4 - forget about it.
He must be injured tho, he’s lost a step of pace and his kicking depth is down a lot.Saw glimpses of old Sheez that made me happy
Ok thanksComben kicked the ball away
I’m not gonna cook the kid for this.soul destroying turnover late.
No we didnt? We were. We had Powell (who did four fifths of f*ck-all offensively) on him.
Trade our future for an athletic defensive mid. We get slaughtered inside with the likes of LDU, Kerch, Powell in there.
Plusses were that it seems like (20 rounds into the year) Sheezel found some touch. And Port got flogged.
