I'm hazy on that but I think it was the Tavern. All the Port players rocked up. Funnily enough, they were also staying in the hotel I worked. Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street and Kenilworth Hotel (mouthful to say on the phone). My mate, who was the head concierge is a massive Port supporter, was loving life.

Well it has been a year of us ticking things off….

Still though, we haven’t had a good performance when playing a crap team away from home this year

2015 has a massive asterisk next to it as well. It was in the last round where Ross Lyon rested 11-12 players from pur best 22. We may have won the minor premiership that year but the side that day is probably one of worst put out in Freo history.

Big news week for Port as well. I expect they'll come out breathing fire. Gotta hang in there and weather the storm.

We played them there in 2014 and 2015. Every other year we were any good we didn't play them there.

2015 has a massive asterisk next to it as well. It was in the last round where Ross Lyon rested 11-12 players from pur best 22. We may have won the minor premiership that year but the side that day is probably one of worst put out in Freo history.

We threw away last year's game too, even though it was a worse version of Freo against a far better version of Port.

We should get this done in spite of Boak's retirement but eh, Dokery remains ever present.

I have been feeling very nervous about bringing Fyfe back in off only 1 WAFL game. But if you haven't seen it yet, go find the Fyfe highlights footage from last week's absolute mudfest Peel game. That man did not hold back in his crash or bash at all. He knows this year is his last chance. Given how ****ed his body is, he's done well to get himself to a position to be even somewhat available for 1 last finals campaign.
