I'm hazy on that but I think it was the Tavern. All the Port players rocked up. Funnily enough, they were also staying in the hotel I worked. Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street and Kenilworth Hotel (mouthful to say on the phone). My mate, who was the head concierge is a massive Port supporter, was loving life.Lol what pub in Clapham was it.
Over the last 10 games Freo are 2nd and Port 3rd.
This is going to be an arm-wrestle.

I think the discussion was about clearance rankings and not wins mate. That can't be right. They're 4-6 from their last 10.
And 1-4 from their last 5, with the win being against the eagles.

Well it has been a year of us ticking things off….Never beaten Port at Adelaide oval.
Or won in Adelaide against them since 2012 - Matt Primus was coaching then.
So Hinkley has never lost to Freo at Home -
Looks like we need to tick this one off before he finishes up.
We played them there in 2014 and 2015. Every other year we were any good we didn't play them there.Never beaten Port at Adelaide oval.

Big news week for Port as well. I expect they'll come out breathing fire. Gotta hang in there and weather the storm.Never beaten Port at Adelaide oval.

2015 has a massive asterisk next to it as well. It was in the last round where Ross Lyon rested 11-12 players from pur best 22. We may have won the minor premiership that year but the side that day is probably one of worst put out in Freo history.
Agree. And we also need to get him back in the team and working with the back 6 again before the two bigger games against Brisbane and BulldogsI must confess part of me says hold back Pearce another week, let that dodgy leg settle down some more...
BUT
This is a must win game, the easiest of our last three,
We have to give it a red hot crack and not hold anything back.
Release The Moose Smithers.

LFG.
I remember the last time We played port and needed a win more than they did. And we had everything to play for and they would’ve finished 2nd with a win or a loss…I feel like we got the dockery stuff all out in the first half of Sundays game. If there was ever a dockery moment for us to have that was it.
This should be us when we line up Port on Saturday night:

We need this win more than they do. We have every thing to play for.
Carr hasn't been here for a while now. No bearing at all.main thing bugging me is actually that their next coach was our midfield coach for years...
Carr knows us well. that's actually an issue here. our midfield specifically. and this is a clearance/stoppage game.
on current form and with their big outs (Burgoyne, JHF) we should, on paper, get this done.
but this has 'Dockery' all over it for me.
Whether we win or lose, I bet Port actually try this week after mailing it in for 100 point drubbings. That's the way with these scrubber teams versus Freo. Very annoying.
Let them get fired up.Who wants a push over opponent? That doesn't seem very fun to me.
I can definitely see Carr getting the players fired up for this match, and no doubt Rozee was secretly rested for our match.
