Serious question: do Carlton fans genuinely believe he's the guy to take them to a flag?

Possibly not, but all coaches aren't necessarily the guys to take a team to a flag until they do. Goodwin, Beveridge come to mind.

The clearest thing though is Voss isn't the only issue with the club, which our usual coach merry go-round over the years proves. We're just constantly behind in all other metrics of running a professional competitive football club. How we still haven't had Voss surrounded by better coaching staff, when it's known from Day 1 across the industry that one of Voss' weaknesses is gameday tactics is beyond me.

You're right in that he's not the only issue (i hope whoever the list manager was the last few years is gone) but he's the main one. Your own supporters have noticed it as much as anyone. They have not played a worthwhile type of footy. Not enough reward for effort and difficult to sustain over a full season. It was never going to get you where you want. I don't get why they're prepared to let it drag on any longer. Voss is a good man that has tried but his way just doesn't work.

Their preferred candidate either isn't available in 2025 or maybe they've grown a backbone and are sick of letting the underperforming spuds who run around on the field call the shots. Lets be honest, its likely the former.

We want the whole lot sacked. He was shit at Brisbane, he didn't suddenly become a good coach at Carlton.

He won't get another senior coaching gig after this because he's been exposed as being bog ordinary.
