Pies posters pop in another league based award that Naicos won.How dare Collingwood supporters post in a thread about..... Nick Daicos!

Advisable, given the current forecast that a Carlton plague is, again, likely to raise its head in October

Looking forward to the games this weekend. I do think the eventual winner of the GF will come from the Geelong v Hawthorn game. Then again, if NDaicos plays a blinder and Collingwood find some goal kicking form, the way they play (excellent defense and pressure) will have their opponents in their sights. They somehow need to find a way to score more for mine.
Could it be that NDaicos closes the gap on KB starting this weekend?

And rover was a really attacking high goal scoring position. In an era of positional one on ones, the rovers didn't play position and would often separate and effectively become a plus one in the forward half for each team. Still an outstanding goal tally from KB.To be fair to Nick Daicos, in KB'S time there was more space in forward 50 to score goals, nothing against KB of course....still an all time great.
But if people are expecting are Nick Daicos to score as heavily as KB then they should lower their expectations a bit. For me usually if midfielders are averaging a goal per game (or close to it) then they are doing their job in terms of score board pressure/impact and match impact.

surprising nobody, Naicos wasn't there when it got hard and counted
he needs to chat with Dusty to learn how to impact when it really counts
Stand by this.It was telling that even the commentators noticed he was hanging out the back of the contest at the ball up at Collingwoods CHF with a minute left.
Pendlebury, someone who you can say has truly been elite, put himself at the rucks feet ready to win the hard ball.
Maybe that's to Nick's detriment, so used to having someone prepared to do the hard yards that sitting at the back looking for a cheap kick has become second nature.
Is Martin capable of communicating using language?
Sign language or chopsticks!
He started really well. But in big finals you need bulls winning the crucial second half contests. And you need your star midfielders to kick goals.
The disappointing last quarter reflected a trend with him fading late in big games over the past couple of seasons.
Were to from here for Collingwood next year ?Good home and away player but not Mr September.
