It also helps that there are a million Grand Prix in a year now.
It wasn't that long ago we had about 16 GP a season, now we have 24 a year.

Lando has come a long way from the mistakes in the early part of the season. He still makes the odd mistake but it would take an almighty **** up for him to do himself out of the title. If he doesn't win, I think it'll be with a little help. What do people think of Lando's mental fragility with the pressure on him to protect the championship lead?
We know he can handle pressure, he's an F1 driver, but he doesn't seem to like or cope well with additional pressures on him.
Anyone think he might bin it all by himself?
The thing is, Lando knows he only needs to podium. He doesn't need to push himself hard at the front. So he can afford to coast a little to minimize the risk of mistakes. The other two on the other hand, need to push hard to have any slight chance. What do people think of Lando's mental fragility with the pressure on him to protect the championship lead?

This just feels set up for Max to win.
Which would be absolutely diabolical for anyone associated with McLaren.
It's also done nothing to convince me otherwise in my opinion that it's only helpful to have 1 driver in a team being a genuine WDC candidate.

More of a mathematical certainty than a wildcardI dont think he will bin it on his own but the wildcard here is if McLaren botch strategy again. That could hand it to Max.
Yes - And that 2010 season was when there was 4 drivers still alive going into Abu DhabiIs Seb's first title the last time we had three contenders for a WDC heading into the last race of the year?
This is fairly much what Norris did in Qatar. But when you part of a stupid team !Norris is almost better off qualifying high and then going straight to 3rd haha. Stay out of the way of Mad Max and Oscar and then just stay ahead of whoever's in 4th.
I hope Lando goes into the race with this attitude. No surer way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The thing is, Lando knows he only needs to podium. With Max just behind him.A bit of conjecture around whether McLaren might ask Oscar to help Lando win the WDC (if required).
Best way for Oscar to avoid that situation is to be leading the race.
Osscar winning the WDC and his own team crying would be hilarious. As much as i'd like Piastri to win, i think at this stage id actually rather Max win, because McLaren have been completely ridiculous in managing this season, have boned Oscar regularly and are not worthy of a WDC.
He treated Ricciardo like shit.I'm not entirely comfortable with the concept of Red Bull being rewarded for McLaren's ineptitude. In particular Marko.
He treated Ricciardo like shit.
You say that but Mercedes had decisive leadership and yet the Rosberg/Hamilton season was still an internal shitfight. You can have 2 candidates (although 1 is probably easier) but in that situation ypu need decisive leadership which McLaren dont have.
Like that year it came down to spam v seb lolI just feel like something out of the ordinary will happen. Not on a 2021 level, but maybe?
There’ll be some unhappy people come the checkered flag, that’s a certainty either way.
