Like most young teams they’ve got no composure, they dominated the 3rd but got nothing from it.

Yeah - nothing more demonstrates it than the kick from Lynch there. Lynch has the luxury of being added to a Premiership side with seasoned players.
Carlton have to rely on raw players to get the job done.
Weitering and Setterfield will come good but need time.
Mackay and Walsh show enough that they can compete at this level now but still need more games.
