In a business or real estate Dutch auction/ negotiation it's in the seller's best interest to have both potential buyers fighting each other. I think both Cats and us are cagey enough to let it play out as long as possible and keep the temperature down. Then whoever "wins" will have paid the lowest possible price that the seller will accept. Whoever blinks loses. Be prepared to walk away.

As for the need for a star forward it’s a cliche. Heeney will bring in more bums on seats than anyone else. We don’t need a forward for relevance but more to straighten up our forward structure.
