one day the AFL will have 20 sides, so people are going to ask for 4 extra weeks for a 38 game season? I don't think so

VFL were incompetent in 1987 by not putting in some sort of division structure when it expanded beyond 12....

i'm all for either 2x9 or 3x6 division structure, call me a yank, I don't give a toss, at least there is a structure in this

as long as you do cross over finals to ensure anyone can still meet anyone in the GF

Craig Hutchinson 18- 3 system has more merit and probably not a good enough system to get over the line as it tries to make two clubs have a bye each round so there is a Thursday game EVERY round. I give him credit for being inventive though.
