I want him to play and definitely think he should debut but at the same time. I don’t want him to be thrown into the baptism of fire while the midfield sort sort it out sort itsshit out s**t out and the rest of the team learn basic skills.

Mate, if he has one of those he'll be our best defender (Sheezel excluded).

But considering that 90% of our list kick a football like they've never kicked a football, if he has neat disposal I'll back him in the team for the next 5 years. I don't care if he runs away from contact and gets thrown around like a toddler.

Was very good in the VFL last week - excellent run and carry and good foot skills.

Good voice as well, very confident.

This promotion was probably earlier than he thought would be the case but it is well deserved and we need his skillset.
