Not 1 single KKP taken?? o_O
What happens when our older Key's retire or we have a bad year with injuries, do we even have any KKP's outside the premiership team besides Walsh, still raw, and White, who's probably in his last year?

I wouldn't expect anything else, the club has consistently noted that they believe you are better off drafting midfielders and utilities and trading for older KP players once you can get a better handle on them and their development.

Of course their are exceptions to these rules when you get a really good KP kid earlier in the draft and all indications are that next year is a deeper draft with a taller bent.

obviously got towers for depth, he is 22 so you would expect they would be expecting him to go straight away.

We wanted Sam Siggins with pick 62 but ****in Adelaide got him, that's why we needed extra time with that pick.

Looking at the players themselves...

Membry in the 3rd round isn't a bad pickup, there's a few worries about how he can step up to AFL level...but worth the risk at 46.
Marsh...mehh..he does show some good things, but not sure about taking him in the 2nd round probably could have got him with one of 60's picks.

Don't know anything about the others, besides the fact they're not KKP, hope Towers actually turns out to be something though because O'Brien or Mason Shaw were up for grabs at 22 - would have really liked them to take the chance on one of those 2. Think Nick Graham might have been worth a go too, passed over him a few times.

Not too sure about this draft...on face value it doesn't look quite as good as a few of our other recent ones...but who really knows with these things, hopefully acouple turn into guns.

Bit of a meh draft I reckon. None of those recruits really excite me that much. Except maybe Membray and Towers but reading their profiles all four seem very raw and I don't expect much from any of them next year. Hope we get Tippett and id like to get Kahn Haretuku as a rookie.

Why do you think that about Kennedy, sounds exactly like Mcglynn with better disposal
Mentioned earlier he reminds me very much of Willoughby, rover/small fwd, highly decorated junior career, but query him at the next level. Not sure what role he would play at AFL level.
Question on size and his physicality and whilst he has a good left foot I think his kicking is mixed. Can be excellent, but can also be a bit hit and hope. Reasonable pace, but not a line breaker.
So for mine happy he we missed out on him.

Very surprised that Colquhon wasn't picked up by anyone and I would have thought a KPD like Rodda would have been handy with one of the picks we passed on.

Not convinced about Membrey, just dont know where he fits at AFL level. Dick is lightning quick defender/winger. Loves to carry ball & no-one can catch him.
