Lobbe for best finals performer? Not sure he'd get close to O'Shea, Monfries, Carlile, Trengove or even Ebert.
One of the three defenders I've mentioned will win it.

Over the two finals Lobbe won the rucks, tacked well and was right up there; probably our most consistent player.
For the Collingwood game Tommy Logan was probably our best and Westhoff for the Geelong game.
Broadbent & Ebert were also good against Geelong and Ebert & Cornes were amongst the best against Collingwood.

2nd thoughts maybe Ebert for the best finals player but Lobbe won't be far behind.

It's the worst system.

3-5 coaches should vote in a 5-1 vote.

Not true IIRC.

Players can get 0-4 votes. 1 is for basically doing their role, 2 for a good game, 3 for a great game and 4 for outstanding. I don't have the descriptions spot on, but that's basically it.

Since the system came in, no one has polled a 4. Schulz has polled a few 3s in his high goal kicking games.
