What are people's thoughts on using pick 36 on a developing ruck man???? Goldie aside, we have currie, majak, the beast, and brown. Going forward majak would be my choice backup as a pure ruck (if fit) prefer to keep brown fwd. Currie and the beast mature age, there's a limit to how much better they can get and how long the club should keep them as pure insurance. Already enough competition for spots amongst other positions? Only stipulation I'd have is no beanstalk 200 plus cm 80kg blokes. Anyone seen or know anything about kovacevic? 204cm 111kgs, looks a good mark and kick, and mobile for his size by his highlights. Any others? Thoughts??

This is the first year I can remember where a ruckman won't get in the top 15-20. Wright is 200cm but is a forward in my eyes! I think clubs are choosing to poach ruckman rather than develop them as they usually take 4-5 years to mature

Weller is originally from Tassie his family moved up there when his brother Maverick got drafted to the gold coast. Mav now plays for st.Kilda.

Not really. Mav and most others knew he played for the Saints this year. Also they all knew they are from Tassie.

If mckenzie is there we should take him- we need someone that can be a gun KPF as the future doesnt look good for those we have drafted.

Cant get any guys that have had major injury issues- garner, delaney, harper and co have missed to many games.

Interesting that Knightmare in the Big Footy phantom draft chose McKenzie at pick5 for Collingwood. He really rates him but has been more objective about him in his own draft.
