So, round 1 - does it say more about Thomo or more about Parkside?
Wattsy - suprising win considering the players who have left. Well done. South Morang wouldn't be too happy with there start in a lower division.
Ressa - slow start but then experience kicked in after quarter time. Big game against Thomo in a few weeks.

Yes some in interesting results from last week, particularly the Bears big win.

Round 2.

Watsonia vs Thomastown Both opened with a win and think the Bears can keep it going.
West Heidelberg vs South Morang The Hawks are a bit unknown and the Lions will be smarting from last weeks loss.
Parkside vs St Marys Both were disappointing last week with the Saints probably able to get on the board.

Watched the west heidelberg and south morang game yesterday, good to watch the local footy, decent turn up, a bit of undisciplined footy from both sides. Could have gone either way up till last quarter, South Morang too strong in the end.

Ressa v Thomo - Ressa by 6 goals. Big day at the club with the 'R U OK?' luncheon on. Should be a big crowd
Wattsy v Parkside - I dare say Wattsy should win comfortably.
St Marys v Heidelberg West - St Marys for me, but Heidelberg West are improving each year under Derek Shaw.
Sth Morang v Bye - Sth Morang...just

Reservoir vs Thomastown Think the occasion of the day will get the Mustangs over the line in the potential grand final preview.
Watsonia vs Parkside The Saints are playing better than the Devils and should win.
St Marys vs Heidelberg West Think this might be closer than thought but giving it to the Saints.

Start of season I thought Reservoir would win the flag easy.
However after watching Thomastown 3 times..
I have them comfortably winning the granny against either watsonia or reservoir or sth morang

some intresting results . the beauty of div 3 footy . thomastown what a shock who would of thought they would be sitting 3-0 . i wouldnt be writing off resa just yet new side still gotta come together . still believe thomastown resa south morang and watsonia will be the top four .

A couple of interesting results last week and some teams need to regroup quickly.

Watsonia vs Reservoir Game will tell if last week's loss was just one of those for the Mustangs while the Saints are going well.
Heidelberg West vs Parkside Two in a row for the Hawks coming up, who would have thought. Devils playing poorly at the moment.
Thomastown vs South Morang Big statement from the Bears last week and don't think the Lions can challenge successfully here.

West Heidelberg back to back wins. Winning by 20 goals and 2nd on the ladder. Long time since that trifecta has come up. Congratulations to them though. Good to see a club that has kept on chipping away have plenty to crow about for a change.

Undoubtably west have improved but we will find out more over the coming weeks with challenges against Thomastown and Reservoir coming up..

Parkside appear to be struggling without Bennett and the retirement of club champion hockey..

Based on the bears form cant go past them at the moment . Bears by 5goals +

South Morang v St Marys
South to bounce back against struggling st marys . South by 4goals

Parkside v Reservoir
Reservoir will be way to strong for parkside . Think a very long day is on the cards for parkside . Reservoir by 10 goals +

South Morang vs St Marys Look for the Lions to put last weks disaster behind them at teh Saints expense.
Parkside vs Reservoir The Mustangs traditionally struggle at Pitcher Park but probably not this visit as the Devils are poor at the moment.
