Cheers mate. He did ok last year getting them to finals but this year not so good. Heard a selection decision during last years finals caused some unrest down at Jacana land. I must admit it's a tough gig coaching Jacana but he did seem to improve the place from all reports..

We all know at NFL headquarters that schoolteacher is a mouthpiece for a prominent president. I would be more worried about your team winning it this year than slagging off at Div 3 sides

Great news for Banyule, hopefully Laurimar will struggle and the mighty Bears get to play them 3 times as well as Kilmore and West , that's 9 wins there and if Ressa make a come back and are no good there might be another 3 wins there. That's 12 and a certainty for finals in 2017, exciting time at the Brockwell stadium.

My maths are a little bit different than yours Schoolteacher. A 9 team comp will probably mean 16 games over a 19 games season so you player every team twice once at home and once away. So maybe you're back to 6 wins not 12!

Watching morang v stmarys sunday one thing stood out, how ferral the Epping supporters are. Thats right, their disgusting language towards morangs players namely P. Harrison just showed what sort of club they are. A lot to say for the only club in history to drop to a lower grade in consecutive years. Should be disgusted but really if your ferral president is leading the charge with abuse, what hope do you really have?
Im tipping deep down they may be slightly concerned the lions got up

As an interested observer watching Saturday and Sundays game, I actually stood in the area of the Epping people both days and have to say it was pretty ordinary, and when I actually asked an Epping person who a particular individual was I shocked to hear what his role was within the club. Then again Sunday the same thing , I would have have thought that people that have inportant roles for the club wouldnt be on the gas during the game, especially when his club was playing, Sunday was ok as he was a spectator but seriously, have a look at yourselves

South Morang give as much as they get, there fans are feral also often seen sucking down jim beam cans before the start of reserve games. End of the day it's local footy it's finals and everybody is passionate, there is always going to be a very small number of people who get rubbed the wrong way.. Play on I say

Yeah agree its local footy but to have people in high positions doing that and abusing players probably isnt a good example thats all Im saying .

Gotta remember president is also a voluntary role also and he is giving up his time so to enjoy the football with a few beers at a final shouldn't be made out like a bad thing

Presidents may be voluntary but as a president of a club you and the senior coach set the standards for everything your club stands for EG behaviour professionalism etc. etc.
So for a club president to be at a game where his team either 1st or 2nd are playing and to be seen to be on the gas and abusing players and umpires especially if he is in club attire then this is detrimental to the whole club and a very bad look . Just think if there is club sponsors at the game and the president is doing his thing, then as a club sponsor I would think twice tipping in anymore money as this is not the image I want my company associated with

Agree the President should be the main club face and he sets the standards. You need to be a presence and leader of people. However I don't know the person or if he wanted the role, of was kind of pushed into it.

I must say in today's footy clubs need to be family orientated and set good standards otherwise it spells trouble...
