if theres anything ive learnt over the years, is if you're going to have a scandal you need to back it up with a solid win. we're back to old territory here of letting the media rip us a new one for an extended period of time and then copping a flogging

See I went the other way and brought a extra membership (3 game) for Lenny#7 our dog, just my little show of support for a club that has got a lot more right then wrong over the last few years.

Good on you Mowman....great stuff.

I upgraded my reserved seat tics to include Social Club.....as part of the Clubs special with discounting the cost of upgrading to SC.......a few more bucks going to the club.

Speaking of that.....I spoke to the club last week re the upgrade special.They said there was a bit of interest with the special which surprised me.
I thought there'd be a lot of interest.
I suggested that they promote it for a little longer on the main web page.
Be interesting to see if they get a good uptake.

I'm just going to say I'm happy at the 40 mark
Not phased about getting to 41 or 45

Even in 09 and 10 when we were at our peak, the best team in the comp, we couldn't get to 40 thousand.

Tells me that people can def see the future, or think that the future, is going to be brighter compared to the years we stuffed it

This is a good thing
Never before have we done this so I'm satisfied completely if we don't even get to 40500

We now must in the next three years, keep this as a minimum number AND win a flag.
If we fail again, we will be in trouble

What are you basing the final tally on?

My understanding is that Beyond Sport is 100% Essendon at every game. The Club dont promote it so I very much doubt we make any money from it.

This is why I did not purchase tips for my son and niece at the game.

On the 18th of May the tally was 40,352 and not it's 40,576 which is a difference of 224 since last week. Not bad.
