yeah our kicks going inside 50 aren't good, but the forwards aren't giving them much to work with. so slow

We're being left behind tactically, other teams have moved way past us. The limited tactics are in turn effecting the development of our young guys. Massive reality check on the way once the players, who give their all physically, start losing faith in the gameplan.

We just aren't very good. We have a s**t list and are very young. We have less stars than Brisbane and Carlton and the list rebuilds of a couple of clubs are ahead of us.

Is that you Richo?

mate richo is extremely smart

i mean he somehow managed to convince the entire st kilda board and administration that they should get ahead of the curve and re-sign him until 2020, despite him never taking the side to finals and his contract not expiring for another 12+ months.

a board that is headed by a bloke in charge of a 500m p.a. company with a CEO with an extensive legal and player welfare background

he's laughing all the way to the bank

He is a inside mid. We have 20 of them so we are trying to make him a forward. Our recruiting has been terrible.

Reckon you guys should just throw him in the centre clearances. You have a good midfield group but I think Steele could be the most damaging at winning the ball out of the middle

This breeze must be blowing the other way now

Drop in oval, watch the advertising as it's not the wind that changed but the very Earth itself and we were hoodwinked since we thought the rumbling was Paddy's ghost of puppy fat.

Hey folks

I really rate Jack Steele, seems that something good happens every time he goes near the ball. But he's only had 7 touches and he doesn't seem to be a massive accumulator in general anyway. He's still very young but has there been any talk from your club about putting him right at the coal-face like a JPK or a Selwood? Reckon him getting first hands to it would be scary given he's like a bull
Should be in the middle for every centre bounce but looks like Armitage being back has pushed him to play as a high half forward, which is a little disappointing. #3 in the AFL for tackles last year from memory, has a lot of promise but needs midfield minutes and a lot of them.
