I do like JD as a player but this feels incredibly risky. Giving up 5 and 9 wound be insane IMO. We haven’t had a legit (non-academy) top pick in forever and to not use it on one of the top prospects this year would feel like a letdown as a fan honestly. Pick 9 I’d be ok with but sounds like that’s unlikely.
