LAST WARNING

The mod bashing has got to stop

One more mod bashing post and this thread gets closed permanently.

If you have an issue with a modding decision, where it be here or elsewhere, take it up with that mod or contact site admin.

Mods are unpaid volunteers volunteering their time to keep this place running smoothly. Try to respect that. Yeah, we dont always get things right, but most here are just trying to do whats best for everyone. Its impossible for mods to make everyone happy, and for every decision a mod makes, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.

Mod bashing never solves anything and it is simply disrespectful to those who take the time to volunteer for this place.

I hadn’t even realised the Canberra Raiders were the creative force behind The Simpsons all these years!
They should totally sue anyone who uses their work, especially those bandits at Fox...

It goes to show you those clowns running the competition buckled under pressure and a media driven with supporter angst when you see quotes like this never seen a spokesman from a organisation mention a particular team in reference why the fixture was given.Bush league stuff .Taken from Herald Sun.

You’ll see a different outcome this year at the MCG. There’s a much broader spread of games, particularly in the back end of the season for Richmond,” Auld said.

“But you look at those clubs who play a lot of games at the MCG and you’ll have blocks of games, there’s no doubt about that. It’s the same for clubs who play a lot of games at Marvel Stadium.

“But I think we’ve got a better balance next year and you’ll certainly see in Richmond’s fixture that there’s more balance.”

Keep this quotation for when we go B2B. Will be good to throw at West Coke and Geelololol supporters when they once again start crying about how good we have it.

Haha.......'balance', means caving in to media pressure.

There's only so much these knobs can do to try and 'even out' the competition. Didn't see any of this crap during previous teams dominance did we?

What makes this shite all the more glorious is that the Tigs have built a dominant team/structure from a period of compromised drafts and no hand outs.

Its almost like people don’t understand that we’re due 11 home games at the MCG regardless, and then we get away games there against the three other co-tenants.
It really is quite remarkable isn’t it, when you try to explain to opposition supporters that when you play fellow mcg tenants, one team is the home team and one team is the away team.
Still there is that many west coast supporters that can’t get their head around it, it’s mind blowing

I can't understand the eagles supporters there the last club that should whinge afl bend over so many times during there era in the early 2000 and turned a blind eye while the rest of the afl community knew there was a huge problem there still have it now. They have the worse culture there it amazes me how Nisbett still has a job in the afl.So up themselves the s**t didn't stink.

Opposition supporters and media (which, lets be honest, are predominately opposition supporters), are salty because they were excited at the prospect that we would not have a chance at the flag this year...and then we won it. When we 9th and the number crunches were salivating that we had only a small percentage chance of making the top 4, the experts were quick to write off our chances.

What did end up happening is that the draw worked into our hands. Not because we had a good run of game at the MCG leading up to finals, but because we played the more difficult teams there when our list health began to improve. Early in the season we were not only combating the problems we had with injuries but also playing a large percentage of games away.

In all honesty, they can spread our home games out as much as they like - it won't make a difference to our chances at a flag tilt. All it will mean is that we have a better H&A record earlier in the season so the pressure is reduced later.

They can be as salty as they like. The scariest thing for them though is not the fact that we won the flag after a run of home games at the MCG but more so that we won the flag off the back of such an injury riddled season. While opposition supporters were clapping their hands in glee, we were uncovering potential stars for the future and revitalising our team.

So change the fixture as much as you like Auld. Bitch and moan opposition supporters. This juggernaught is only just getting rolling :D
