I reckon our game plan often left a defender out the back against two forwards, their man and one who was loose for whatever reasons.

It meant they were often caught in between sticking with their own man and covering the free player. McMillan and McDonald were often that guy and looked silly as a result. I think it was a game plan issue as much as anything.
