have the full voting details been published anywhere? always interesting to see how the coaches rate the players.
He had some great individual moments, but he didnt have a great year
Did they reveal how that was determined? AFL finals should be weighted for voting. Week 1 - votes given, Week 2 - votes given x 2, Prelims - votes given x 4, GF - votes given x 8. The more important the final, the more it should count.Finals award really depends on how it was delivered. I have no problem with Ollie being commended for a great finals series, and he honestly deserves recognition for how he's gone about it this year - after the drama and the loss of the co-captaincy he's approached everything with maturity and looks like he is becoming the leader we've always wanted him to be.
The only issue is the mission accomplished type sh*t that certain people have been speaking (to be fair a lot of this comes from outside Port people). We blew an opportunity this year and should be angry and wanting to make amends, not patting ourselves on the back for getting close.
Maybe the match winners need to consistent not hot & cold and they'll win the awards, just a idea.We have to stop rewarding good role players and start rewarding match winners.
I couldn't tell if he was drunk, ready to vomit from nerves or both.
