They want Hollands. It was mentioned on Trade Radio that they're trying to move higher up draft to Nab him.
They have specific needs now due to many years of building. We have lots of needs and hence pick 5 plus another first next year allows up to build quality quickly.
Daniel is a good player. Couldn't defend a paper bag but great with ball in hand.
You seem overly concerned with bidding on Campbell but if you have seen him (I haven't) and rate him that highly then ok. I just hope we only bid if we truly think he is the best player available

Don't stress about it. They're trying to suggest that GWS will trade us 8 and 10 for 2 because "The Roos could be tempted to trade No.2 for two later selections in the top-10 as they look to replace as many as 13 players who are on the way out".
It's abysmally dumb.
Can one of you wealthy individuals share this story for us plebs?
We sacked Brown.

THey haven’t even decided list sizes but they make these comments. We will most likely get picks for brown and Higgins plus we already have Corr and young so not sure why such a comment is relevant.
Sorry I forgot we are the fall back when they have no other stories

Caldwell was taken by the Giants with the 11th pick of the 2018 Draft and wants to move to the Bombers and return to Victoria on a lucrative four-year deal.
GWS are digging in its heels over the talented 20-year-old midfielder, with list boss Jason McCartneysaying on ABC Radio they want a first-round pick for Caldwell, who he said had only gotten better since being taken with pick 11.PLAYERCARDSTARTJason Mccartney

Essendon are also driving a hard line stance on what it will pay for Caldwell, with the Bombers reportedly telling the Giants they are prepared to let the 11-gamer fall to the pre-season draft if GWS don’t settle on a future second round pick for him.
Adelaide are fans of the Bendigo Pioneers’ product, and senior coach Matthew Nicksdid spend a season with him at the Giants, but the Crows won’t use their position as the holders of the No. 1 pick of the pre-season draft to swoop in and get him.PLAYERCARDSTARTMatthew Nicks

Both the club and Caldwell’s camp believe in the unlikely event of him having to enter the pre-season draft the Bombers would structure a deal for the young Giant in a way that would heed off any potential interest from other sides.
Despite Gold Coast and Melbourne being ahead of them last year, Carlton were still able to take Jack Martinin the pre-season draft after offering him a big front-ended deal that scared off rival clubs.PLAYERCARDSTART19Jack Martin

The Crows are expected to part with a mid-range selection to lure Hately to West Lakes, and currently hold picks 33 and 40 in that area for the former No. 14 draftee.
Those mid-range picks are in addition to one, nine, 22, 23 and 50 in the strongest draft hand the Crows have had.
They could still try and strike a pick swap with the Western Bulldogs, which would involve the Crows trading picks No. 22 and 23 for 14.
Port Adelaide’s main focus before Thursday’s trade period deadline will be securing Orazio Fantasia, which still seems to look likely for a second-round pick and some later selection trades despite Essendon trying to either get one of the Powers’ young guns or their future first-round pick.PLAYERCARDSTART14Orazio Fantasia

Because different lists are at different stages of being built or maintained, and different list managers have different opinions. GC might think that getting the one KPP to partner King is their absolute top priority rather than stocking up on more mids. We might think extra top 10 picks are gold and midfield depth is our top priority. As long as we stay in the top 5 this year it’s all good (unless we somehow take a collection of garbage picks as the add-ons in which case sack Rawling). My issue is, if you can throw a blanket over the 5, why are GC throwing everything at getting pick 2?
