Can I just echo caesar88 comments about Riley Beveridge from last night. Once again his comments tonight about the Swans have been sound on our selections and the club overall.

Sure, that's a fair point, though Stephens' "talent" was supposed to shine through too.

I just think good luck to Sheldrick and Roberts displacing any of JPK, Parker, Mills, Rowbottom and Chad.

And that's assuming that we aren't gonna run the versatile guys like Heeney and Gulden through the inside next year either...

With all these mids we're drafting Parker is gonna have to be out of the midfield by next year or we'll lose some of these kids

Glass half full approach:

Stephens, Campbell, Corey Warner and Roberts all make names for themselves on the wing or flanks.
We turn one of the young mids/wingers into a small defender ala Cunners/Nick Smith.

You're right - I see the pain is obviously when Rampe goes, and then Buddy/Hickey/Reid are gone, we just have to hope that at least one or both of McLean or Amartey make it (still not a given) and at least two of the untried Paddy, BOC, Gould make it (even less of a given).
