We have no choice but to let it go as the good folk of Bigfooty don't deserve to be on the receiving end of our frustration (well in my case - you have been quite civil.)

Just thinking about it and looking at our list,
I think they don't rate Clarke, Bell and possibly Stephens. It is the only way I can rationally think why we have drafted so many mids.

Are we in danger of exceeding the left-footer quota? That's five in the last two drafts. We also seem to have a penchant for West Australians and South Adelaide players.

Not complaining. This year's crop so far looks like classic Swans midfield hardnuts.

Clarke and Bell yeah, but that's not surprising, I expect them to be gone next year anyway. Stephens re-signing for two, I think shows they'll be patient, but I think he's going to have to make it work on a wing or half forward, because he's got a whole extra CB rotation to compete against now.

We are on 38 iirc so we can take one more but I doubt it

If possible I'd just trade it for a future pick if we got the offer

Should take Anderson. We've gone full tilt midfield we might as well just go all the way now and at least get a local one on the list.

Intriguing how none of our draft choices were defence despite it being a need. They clearly have plans which may include Paddy being drafted and in defence, Reid playing back permanently and possibly Amartey tried back too.

Looking forward to our off contract players next year, Clarke, Taylor, Bell and Kennedy would either be delisted or retiring plus a range of our top end mids are out of contract.
