I agree with the last line. I have us as a sneaky finals chance. I think Mayne should have gone out with that award, personally.
Yes, I agree, on both counts. With some luck, we can definitely contend for a lower 8 finish next season.

Been pondering the complete absence of McRae last night and decided it was a good thing. The night was about this season, and McRae had nothing to do with it. Involving Bucks was appropriate, and keeping Korda to a short message at the beginning was also about right.

Covid forced a stripped back version of the Copeland on us, without the bells and whistles, but I liked it. No nonsense, roll the sleeves up and let’s get on with it. Maybe in line with the new atmosphere at the club?:p

Would be appropriate Vicky - less Hollywood, more blue collar.

My point is that you don’t know the criteria. Language like “disgraceful” is over the top, in my opinion.
Steele is a good player who has been out of form. I can’t see why he won’t bounce back next year.
I actually think we have huge upside with our veterans.
Agree in that Steele still looks fit and capable, he just had a largely very poor season this year but has the capacity to become rejuvenated under the new coach.

Sounded like this was better and more to the Point then the Normal Copeland Trophy Night

might not have been a good coach, but no reason he can't do something else. Maybe welfare or something else. Plenty of options in the club.
What I am truly enjoying is seeing the club filling out in many capacities now that we have the money.

Something the AFL will be spewing over because it diminishes their capacity to enforce the 'premiership cycle'.

Well . . . FCK THEM

What a superb footballer Jack Crisp is. Deserves every moment of recognition that comes with such a prestigious award.

Farcical scenes with Sidebottom running top 5 - reflection of how bad the year truly was.

We'll be bottom 4 the entire year Jmac. Our most important players (Sidebottom Pendlebury Howe Roughhead Elliot Crisp) are all close to 30 or over it and will be getting worse next year, while our talented kids are still too raw to pick up the slack. Our 21-26 talent is extremely poor and we're going to feel that.

Agree - That was what stood out in Freo game - centre bounces at stages were Brayshaw (21), Serong (20), and Cerra (21) Mundy was the exception.

Wheras we were reliant on Pendles, Adams, Elliott, Crisp.

We need that next generation.

Thanks for this. Been wanting to watch the replay.

Does anyone know of any podcasts that are done by everyday supporters like us folk?

Have been watching a lot of Swoop Luke, but wouldn't mind anything else I can listen to.
