Rozee on his regular AA segment said his wound has healed about 90%, so they wont risk him and he is going to miss Rd 2 game and expect to be ok for Rd 3.

All the more important that he got two pre season games under the belt.

Here comes the Lachie Express!

Port Adelaide's injury list diminishes this week with the slated return of forward-midfielder Connor Rozee (foot surgery), the question of recalling key forward Todd Marshall and the much-anticipated AFL debut of half-back Lachie Jones (hamstring).

Sounds like it’s going to be a 6-10 week hamstring for Bonner. Terrible luck for a guy in career best form.

“Fellow defender Riley Bonner has spent a week in a leg brace and on crutches to ease the pressure on his hamstring tendon injury, and a plan is being prepared for his return.”

Could be 5-6 weeks recovery, then a few games at SANFL level (on the wing).

That Bonner injury looked so harmless too. That hamstring tendon just went pop!

His loss has hurt, with his height, run and kicking he was being used as an effective transition from defence to attack weapon in what looks like a specialised role. Amon fills in, but Farrell just hasn't been able to be effective as yet.

I forgot Goldsack was on our list for coaching cap reasons.
If we make the GF, I demand he comes in for it.

I had sketchy internet but I think he was going for a ground ball and got crunched between 2 nord players. To me it looked like he was taken high pretty cruedly but I am pretty one-eyed in these situations.
