Keeler is linked to the Adelaide Crows as a Next Generation Academy member. At 198cms he could be the next Paddy Tyder.
Phantom drafts have his ranging from mid teens to mid 20s. Our Compo pick could force the Crow's hand.
Genuine question, are you a troll? I have never seen anyone so consistently wrong about everything they post. Like every single thing you post is incorrect. Feel free to DM me and let me know if this is some elaborate troll account and you don't want your cover blown.

No bidding required. No forcing of hands. None of that nonsense. If he's picked within the top 40, that team gets him. I already stated that.

Hey macca
Does the top end stretch out to pick 9 in your view.
Ashcroft
Wardlaw
Tsatas
Cadman
Sheezel
Clark
Busslinger
McKenzie
Phillipou

I don't think we'd be disappointed with whichever of these names is still there at pick 9.

11-12 really good, then its a bit of a crapshoot after that

That's why is just so important for us to hang onto that first this year.

Not sure if Dunkley is a massive need for us. Clearly small forwards and key backs are the areas at the moment.

Our trade period strategy indicates to me that we think this draft is crap. If we though it was good we wouldn't have given up the second rounder in the Sinn deal, or look to trade our top ten pick for Dunkley or potentially trade out the Amon compo for Rioli.

In my view none of those players are must haves. Nice to haves yes, but if you thought this was a super draft you wouldn't be trading out those picks. Particularly the top ten pick for Dunkley.

Is that the right call to bypass this draft? I know little about this crop so I have not much to add. One thing that does look to be the case is that the absolute top end, lets say the first 5 picks, is pretty fluid outside of Ashcroft. Another thing is that the SA talent pool is poor. And it's pretty midfield heavy.

However, ultimately we won't be able to definitively say until a fair way into the future and some of the times these drafts look bad and end up being good. It's a risky move to do, particularly when there is quite a bit of uncertainty around how COVID has impacted these guys.

For what its worth, the last time I recall we completely bailed out of a draft was 2017. My numbers suggest that in the range we were picking in, lets say 12-40, that draft was about 20% better than the average draft crop at this stage of development. Although the previous draft 2016, which we consolidated all our picks in (4 in the first 30), was 30% better than average.

So in that lenses we actually made a really good call. Hopefully we again make a good call this year.

From what I am reading the top 10 looks good as is normally the case and it falls away in that 12-30 bracket abit.

So what's the deal with Tom Scully have the Cows been trying to hide him away not getting picked in SA teams.

204cm forward/ruck - I'm not keen on his kicking routine but 204cm sign him up I don't care if he's crap - project player.

We already have a 205cm player and our dumbshit coach has tried to destroy his career. He hates anyone tall unless they're in his Greyhound syndicate

How far does Wardlaw slide?
Hopefully all the way to 9. There’s not many players in the draft that I think have attributes that will translate immediately into AFL - he’s one of them.

There are some good tall SA boys.

Harry Barnett - 202 cm Ruck/forward. (West)

Harry Lemmey - 199 cm Ruck/forward. (West)

Tom Scully - 202 cm Ruck/forward. (West)

Isac Keeler - 198 cm Ruck/forward. (North)

Pheonix Foster - 197 cm Ruck/forward. (Norwood)

Well I would say this is a good year to load up on what we need going forward.

I would say Lycett has one year and may retire as it looks like his body is about to fall apart.
Dixon is one bad injury from finishing now and if Hayes gets traded we have some holes to fill.

Of course we will get none of them.

It's so disappointing that we can't seem to develop tall players, I hope Hayes stays.

Hopefully Adelaide need to use 5 to get Rankine no way they don't pick the Pou.
Hopefully we get the Pou if not Hewitt.
If we keep the Amon compo i would like a tall would roll the dice on Lemmey.
Then a KPD and small forward later in the draft.
