Derby XXVI and yet another important game for GWS. There's been nothing easy for the team this year, but so far, they've responded well. Hopefully they can continue at home tonight against our cross-town rivals. Looks like a bit of weather is likely - hopefully only light if it does rain - so it spoils neither the crowd turnout nor the game itself. It's pretty simple for GWS - don't be complacent, come out hard in the first quarter, and play the way we have been for Q2-4.

And win!

Fair to say that the weather conditions need to be considered.
The ground will be greasy at best. We have a tallish team.
Contested ball will be vital.
Tactics will be very interesting.
Feel like the weather could play a significant role in this game. Our team is considerably taller than the swans and wet weather should be to their advantage. I also just feel like our play style just works a lot better when it's dry and we're able to link up cleanly through the middle. Hopefully the rain holds off until after the match or at the very least remains light.
