I've been a huge fan of Kelly and always felt we needed a player like him.
It would be pretty awesome if Grlj could get to similar levels!

Just watching the Bigfooty Tigercast on youtube. Samuel really knows how to kill the vibe

I think the best thing is that he's hard at the contest and a willing tackler. Most players who have his athletic attributes don't have that as part of their game.

You could see when he played for our VFL he made good decision by foot with the angle he chose instead of the usual long down the line stuff.

I see him more as a Stephen Hill than Butters in time.

I think of Jordan Clarke and to be honest i wouldnt mind he gets to that level , My only issue is where we selected him was he the best available (Probably not) but we went best available at our pick for our needs and looked like the club did try to trade back but couldnt so it is what it is and move on.

It will be interesting to see in Twomey's behind the scenes article if we find out what some of the trade offers were. In hind site getting anything from the bombers or dees should have been a plus unless we had Intel they would have chosen Grlj with the picks in-between.
