It's a contact sport. The boys were training hard. Ed got injured. Tough luck, but it happens. Hope he recovers well and we see him back soon 👍

Is causing training injuries to team mates one of the things the leadership group is responsible for?

Turner has done it (twice?), Petrie, now silver.
The Turner one was crazy because it happened in the last few seconds of the session, Mckay was already out injured and he drove Robbie’s shoulder into the turf

An injury now for him is so frustrating because I actually think he’s been one of our form players so far this year. Has been excellent in the VFL and shown enough for me in seniors to keep his spot. Like practically all our kids he just needs an extended run at it.

Could be anywhere from 1 week or up to 4-6 weeks then GR?
Does he need surgery? Darcy Parish hurt himself but is right to go this weekend.

The optimism on display thinking we'll get him back from a complex syndesmosis injury this season. You know who you support yeah

Today a syndesmosis injury. Tomorrow the wound is infected because Turner pissed in it while Fordy was sleeping and a week from now he's got Ross River Virus and a gangrenous foot

North will list him as two weeks away and we'll see him in 2024 for the first time in two years

Only at North is it better to hear news a player is out for 4-6 weeks and not 2 weeks as they’ll be back sooner.
No point explaining it just means a quicker recovery time.

Unless it's "4-8 weeks" for internal bruising, then the club decides that's actually three weeks. Convinced there's a big Wheel of Fortune style setup in our medical area at the club & they just spin it twice whenever someone gets injured

Great pick up though.
Spicer had a 2 week hammy in January and isn’t due back till June.
TT had 8 weeks for internal bruising but was back in 4.

I fully expect Hall to play next week then🙏🏼

Occasionally the wheel lands on "Have a Senior Game" and the shocked player who was only in there to get a diagnosis quietly mutters that they now feel fine and walks away.

Atu Bosenvulagi, Lachie Young, Max Warren and Will Sierakowski like this

I do believe there's been some concerns about the level of intensity at training? Club trains hard = players get injured = club is incompetent. Can't win
