Initial Changes:

Perez for Hall - need to give a block to Perez and see what he has
Simpkin for Tucker - might be a bit of a waste of the compo pick
Greenwood for Curtis - I like Curtis but he just seem pedestrian at times and we already have Cam playing that role with Stevo as backup

Spicer needs to be dropped before Curtis. Curtis has AFL talent. Spicer is wasting everyone’s time, including his own.

Lucky he wasn't out for two weeks, would have missed the rest of the season.

Yeah I want to see us be more competitive, but I don't want us to hamper our best player long-term when we'll lose anyway. Absolutely no rush in sitting him until he's completely right this season.

I don't see it either, but I imagine most posters' list of reasons is as follows:
He isn't Aaron Hall

He’s young and can’t be any worse than Hall.

Good opportunity to give him a big block of games to see if you want to keep him going forward.

Hall’s not a long term option and is killing the team with his vomit inducing efforts.

Give me the younger player everyday, when you have a senior player killing the team week in week out.

This is more about how bad Hall is, than how good Perez is playing.

He was good today. Rather a kid turning it over than a veteran. Offers better disposal than Hall and is defensively better at a cost to raw numbers.
