Don't know the contract stats of the others but Cotchin has signed on to the end of 2013. I'm guessing the rest of your tips are also baseless guesses? If you're going to name names, atleast do a bit of research.

Do these whispers have a name? or are they just making shit up so they have things to talk about?

Fact is who gives a ****, nothing anyone can do about it, we'll find out in good time.

PS, i doubt they'll chase swan, daisy would be a much better fit from a marketing point of view, pendles would also offer more than swan could due to his age, i reckon we'll lose one of those 2 if any, just cant see either of them leaving though.

Dane Swan...yeah no. GWS clearly stated everyone they are targeting at first will be under 24, so if a Pies player does go it will be Pendlebury/Thomas/or a no name youngster.

I have my suspicions about Josh Hill, Marc Murphy and Mitch Clark, not based on sources or anything just gut feelings so take it with a grain of salt.

Suppose this should be in a GC/Aka/Harbrow thread, but I re-read Akas book out of sheer boredom (6 weeks of no walking) and something caught my interest.
Did anyone find it interesting that in Akas book he said that at the leading teams meeting where he got accused of things which I can't remember, and Harbrow was asked his opinion, to which he replied he couldn't give a shit and just wanted to go home.

Got me thinking he had possibly signed up then and wasn't overly concerned about the inner workings of the club and which players got along with others and the like as he only had a couple of months left. Maybe I'm reading into it too much...hmmm....still interesting.

One thing to remember as the season goes on is last year all the rumours about who was going was pretty much spot on.

You can't keep a secret in footy so in time as the same names keep appearing as "signed already" they will probably be right.

(Pendlebury the better player, Thomas the better media performer)

and Rich.

A combination of Bartel and Pendlebury would be a good platform..

Lets face it, it is hard for a player to say no to a million dollar a year contract.
