This old peanut sitting across the aisle from me was getting stuck into the GoDees players for sharing the ball around, handballing, and switching the play. He made some idiotic statement about not needing to kick across the ground because North will do enough of that crap. I'm sure it's frustrating to support that rabble, but there's no sense abusing your own team when they aren't actually doing anything wrong.

We essentially gave up Davey to sign Shane Harvey, in partial appeasement to Brent's wishes.

I can't stand watching Davey play. Him and Sylvia would have to be the two most aggravating players in the AFL.

Melbourne supporter at the game yesterday mentioned the same thing. The number began with a '5' which given they need to pay the cap minimum, would make sense.

Tell me about it - I had one of these (North supporter), with pitch perfect fishwife voice in full song, demanding exactly this all through the first half. She probably didn't realise or understand that the Demons were putting pretty much their entire team in our forward half of the ground. There was one play where each player who got a handball was immediately under pressure and had to quickly handball off to a teammate, about 8 times in a row - she was almost apoplectic at why someone didn't just throw it on the boot blindly. She didn't complain when 5 seconds later, the chain of handballs led to a clear kick to a leading forward which resulted in a goal.

She stopped after halftime - which coincidentally was about the same time the Demons stopped. I'm sure she felt vindicated.

That's what I hate most - after a string of handballs or short kicks sideways, during which Franky Moron is abusing them to kick it long, finally the switch of play prises apart the zone and an opportunity opens up for a precision kick into space and a mark to a leading forward. Franky Moron says "Finally!" as though his stupid comments were vindicated.

Wow... I can guarentee that at 40 years of age if I trained for 6 months and got myself in the best shape possible at my age I'd be a better option at $500 bucks a kick!
