If the MCG and Etihad are unavailable host it at Adelaide Oval, Subiaco or the SCG.

Don't think it yet warrants a MCG game but Etihad or even (depending on expected crowd) maybe even a Whitten Oval arrangement again

The entire point of the league though is a build it and let it grow

They've got effectively a practice exhibition game as a showpiece game in the bye week yet the pinnacle of the new comp is reduced to a 4pm or so start on a work day as a curtain raiser?

It would be a poor idea. We want people to actively follow the women's league and for them to be unable to watch the GF because they don't have hundreds of dollars or a membership of an unrelated club would be unfair.

All the hype will be about the AFL season starting and everyone will forget about the women

People need to step back, relax take a deep breath and just let this league grow on it's own. The money, crowds, sponsers and better time slots will all come but the AFL have to find out what works first so the league can stay strong and evolve, that is going to take time and many diffrent options will have to be trialled

Agreed that it's disrespectful to the ladies to not have the GF as a stand alone game. It should not be a curtain raiser.
